- Protection Level: 24 mil
- Design: Features an extended 14-inch gauntlet cuff that pulls well beyond the wrist for maximum forearm coverage.
- Safety Criticality: In military documentation, these are classified as non-aviation Critical Safety Items (CSI), meaning their failure could result in serious injury or death in hazardous environments.
- Usage: While originally designed for one-time use in chemical or NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) situations, they are also used for general chemical handling or oil-related work with proper cleaning.
- Agent Resistance: They are primarily made of butyl rubber, which is highly impermeable to biological agents and chemical warfare agents like mustard gas (S-mustard) and nerve agents.
- Compatibility: These gloves are designed to be part of a full ensemble, sealing with hazmat suits (like the JLIST or MkIVA or BDO) and gas masks to ensure total body protection from CBRN threats.
